This depends on how many months pregnant the patient is. If she is in her 1st or 3rd trimester, we don’t recommend her to get any dental treatments. However, she is welcome to have a full check up and cleaning.
While pregnant, dental cleaning, filling, or general treatments is acceptable we do not suggest patients to undergo any whitening treatments or have dental x-rays during pregnancy.

Some of the leading offenders include coffee, tea, red wine, antibiotics and tobacco. If you’re concerned, call us today to arrange a consultation and learn about tooth whitening procedures on offer. Please ask us about Teeth Whitening to address this problem immediately.

Chipped, cracked or discoloured teeth, bleeding gums, bad breath and tooth or jaw pain are all indicators of unhealthy teeth. We highly recommend you arrange a dental assessment with us every 6 months so we can address the cause.

Why 6 monthly appointments are important?2022-02-13T16:16:03+10:00

Dental assessments provide your dental practitioner with an opportunity to clean your teeth and detect problems as early as possible. A simple filling at the right time or identifying a cavity early could spare you from needing a root canal or tooth extraction later down the track.
We recommend for patients to receive a dental assessment on a regular six monthly basis. This ensures that you receive a professional clean to effectively remove plaque build-up so that oral hygiene is maintained.
